Summer is here and the deer are red.

I've been noticing the deer around our area are red this time of year. They have thin hair and are thinner because of their enviormental changes that occur right now. Be sure to keep water available for them. Put out some salt to help with their nutritional needs. Its always nice to have a couple deer around on a regular basis. Of course when this fall comes things will change for you and them. For some people ,they won't hunt near the house 'cause those deer are like their pets. True, but your neighbors might not like that they ate all their flowers and shrubs when the drought was on. Thats the wonder of deer - for some they should be protected but for others they can be a pest. I do know that if you prepare them right they taste mighty good. The Deer Cook
